St. Mawaggali Trades Training Institute Management Board is a training institution which provides both Pre - service training and tailor-made training programs to both the formal and informal sectors. The institution started operations in 1970 with three courses namely bricklaying, carpentry and mechanical fitting. Over the years the number of courses offered has increased to 14 courses.

St. Mawaggali Trades Training Institute has 13 standard classrooms with a combined of over 500 learners. There is assembly hall suited for various activities. There are well equipped workshops suitable for various trades. There is also a library with a wider selection of academic materials which is open daily, the institution does also have a modern computer lab with internet connectivity
